Mossroddich Trout Fishing Loch – location map and directions

Directions: Mossroddich Trout Loch is situated 1 mile east of St John’s Town of Dalry on the A702 heading for Moniaive. Turn right at the Clachan Inn and head up the hill and out of the village. Just after you leave the village (1/4 mile) take a left for ‘Tower Farm’, go over the cattle grid and down the track for 250 yards where you will find a grass lay-by on your left overlooking the loch. Please park here.

From the South: Castle Douglas
Head north (for Ayr) on the A713 to St John’s Town of Dalry – 16 miles
From St John’s Town of Dalry take a right on the A702 for 1.5 miles. Turn left on to the single track road signposted ‘Tower’.

From the North: Ayr
Head south on the A713. From St John’s Town of Dalry take a left on the A702 for 1.5 miles. Turn left on to the single track road signposted Tower.
